1. Who we are

Citrate is a 3D print file marketplace operated by Citrate LLC, based in Texas, United States. We connect designers who sell 3D print files with makers who download and print them. You can reach us at hello@citrate.app.

2. What information we collect

Account information: When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and profile picture (if you use Google Sign-In). You may also provide a username and bio.

Payment information: Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your card number, CVV, or full payment details. Stripe may collect and store payment data in accordance with their own privacy policy.

Usage data: We collect information about how you use Citrate, including listings you view, like, save, or download, and pages you visit.

Uploaded files: Files and thumbnails you upload are stored securely in our cloud storage (Supabase).

3. How we use your information

We use your information to:

• Operate and improve the Citrate marketplace
• Process payments and fulfill purchases
• Display your public profile and listings to other users
• Send transactional emails (purchase confirmations, account notifications)
• Award badges and track creator milestones
• Detect and prevent fraud or abuse

4. What we share

We do not sell your personal data. We share limited information only with:

• Stripe — to process payments
• Supabase — to store your data securely
• Resend — to send transactional emails
• Vercel — to host the platform

5. File licensing

When you upload a file to Citrate, you retain ownership of that file. By uploading, you grant Citrate a non-exclusive license to host, display, and distribute your file to buyers through the platform. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to upload and sell any file you list.

Buyers receive a personal, non-commercial license to print the files they purchase unless the listing explicitly states otherwise. Redistribution or resale of downloaded files is not permitted.

6. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial reasons (such as transaction records).

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can edit your profile at any time from your dashboard. To request full account deletion or a data export, email us at hello@citrate.app.

8. Cookies

Citrate uses cookies and local storage to maintain your session and preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

9. Children

Citrate is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us at hello@citrate.app.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by posting a notice on the site or sending an email. Continued use of Citrate after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
